Credit Card Secrets Revealed!

You will probably know that your credit card holds a few privileges and you what they bring to your card. Right once you know what the credit card has you will put it to the back of your mind, forget about them and let them do their work.

Well it doesn’t always work like that and the old saying of “Read the small print” rings very true, even with the privileges attached to your credit card.

One example being the grace period, which most credit card issuers give you to pay, after you have made a purchase. This can be as long as 56 days after the point of purchase, but did you know that in some cases the grace period is revoked, if you don’t pay off the balance in full and the purchase you made is charged interest from the day you bought it.

Balance transfers can also work in much the same way, again if you fail to pay the minimum payment each month or you are even late in paying, the credit card issuer can take away your balance transfer 0% period and add interest on to your account, though most said the account will be reviewed before any such action was undertaken.
