There is no "best card" available, it all depends on you, your lifestyle, your income and debt and exactly what you want to use the credit card for.
Bank cards - issued by banks: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover
Travel and entertainment cards - like American Express and Diners Club
Store cards - these are provided by and intended to be used in certain stores i.e. Debenhams, Next etc.
Debit cards - usually issued by banks,however, purchases are immediately taken from your account when a sale is made
Affinity cards - issued in conjunction with companies offering incentives for use
Competition between credit card companies has resulted in many credit card providers scraping annual fee’s and offer interest free periods.
Which type of card to use all depends on how you run your personal finances and where you plan to use your card.
