Credit Card Bills Paid By Mobile Phone

Upaid, the mobile payment technology provider, recently carried out a questionnaire, which they found that 80% of all the credit card holders that were questioned, would like to be able to pay their credit card bills and make transactions, by mobile phone.

This they thought would make it simpler to organise the amount of cash that they would wish to pay into their accounts, meaning if they have a direct debit set up that only takes out the minimum amount of payment, then being able to text a message to the credit card lender, would make it easier to organise a larger payment to the card, if that is what they wanted to do.

Most credit card users recognise the need to pay off their credit cards with more than the minimum payment each month and by being able to send a message to the credit card lender would make life simpler and quicker for both the cardholder and card issuer.

Credit card holders also thought it would be ideal if the card issuer, sent a text message to their phones to let them know that their credit card statement or bills were due to be met, thus cutting down on the chances of falling foul of a late payment fee.

It is understood that a few of the major credit card lenders are toying with the idea of text messages to customer’s mobiles and it is also being looked upon as a idea way of cutting the ever increasing debt of the British consumer, if the system helps people to free up the way that they can put extra funds towards their credit card bills.

With people leading such hectic lives these days and spare time at a minimum for a lot of people, then being able to pay your bills on the move cant be such a bad idea and with a text message to remind you that the bill is due, then your pocket not taking a pasting with a charge for late payment, should be a money saver as well.
