New Site For Credit Cards

With 1,500 credit cards to chose from in the UK, then the chances are your brain will go into melt down if you tried to work out the one that will suit you best.

So it ay come as a relieve to you know that the credit card industry, has come up with a new website that will help you, not only pick the credit card that suits your needs, but will also advise you on how not to get into financial difficulty, when using the card that you have decided on.

The new site is being called “choosing and using” and will make the picking of the card that suits your spending needs, as well as helping those among us who already own a credit card and are finding it to be a bit of a noose around the neck and is leading you further into the debt trap.

The one thing that it wont do though, is to compare one credit card to another, as it is not trying to sell credit cards, only trying to find the right card for the customer and is not being done to favour certain credit cards.

The tailored advice site, has been set up by APACS, which is the UK’s payments association, which looks after all of the main players in the UK credit card market and is hoped will guide people who are thinking of buying into a credit card for the first time or who have owned a credit card in the past, that proved to be a drain on their pockets, to choose wisely and to pick a card that will be “useful” not “useless”.

It will advise you in the ways that the credit card can be paid and will help you pick a credit card for the way that you are going to pay back into your account, for example if you are going to pay your credit card off in full at the end of each month, then the need to pick a card with a low APR is not an issue and taking a card that offers you add on reward schemes, will be more beneficial. Where as if you are going to be a borrower and can only pay back part of what you owe, then a credit card with a low APR is the best choice to make, as you are going to incur interest? So the less interest that you pay, the more money you will save in the long run.

And if you do indulge too much on the credit card, then you can also log on to the site for advice on how to deal with any difficulties that you may find yourself in.
