Avon have gone into the credit card scene with Bank One Corp who specialize in co-branded credit cards and this will be the very first credit card that will offer up beauty products for using your credit card, where as before they had cards that gave you trips to theme parks, Air miles or a coffee at your local Starbucks.

So you’ll want to know what the deal is with the Avon credit card. Well firstly you will have to charge your credit card to the tune of $2,500 to receive a gift certificate with the value of $25, though there is an added bonus of an Avon moisturizer, with a value of $25 to be had, when you charge the plastic for the very first time.

If you do shop with an Avon representative from your area, you may find that they will try to sell you this credit card, as there is a $25 commission paid to them for every new credit card that they sell. And with Avon employing 600,000 representatives, there is a lot of scope for them to sell a lot of credit cards.

It has also been said that the Avon card is one of a kind, as it gives rewards not only to the card customer, it also rewards the people who are selling it to the customer, which makes it pretty unique to the credit card market.

Avon is a large worldwide company and with a massive customer base, so the credit card market would obviously be the next step in the building process and with they’re customers using Avon money to purchase Avon goods, and then this step makes a lot of sense.
